
The Pit Teen Throwdown is an annual fitness competition EXCLUSIVE to athletes ages 14-22, held over Labor Day weekend in Southwest Michigan.
The Throwdown features the rugged diversity of our 65-acre fitness ranch, a former gravel pit with woods and water, sand and hills, and our 10,000-SQ FT gym, Triple River CrossFit.

The Pit Teen Throwdown is the only fitness competition EXCLUSIVELY for ages 14-22. Nestled in the woods and water of southwest Michigan, the annual Throwdown is a coveted opportunity for young athletes to gain competition experience and showcase their talent among peers.

Thursday: Junior Varsity Check-In and Athlete Briefing
Friday: Doors open 7:30a, Competition 8a-4p Podium 5p
Friday: Varsity/Collegiate Check-In and Athlete Briefing
Saturday: Doors open 7a, Competition 8a-7p
Sunday: Doors open 7a, Competition 8a-4p, Podiums 5p
Admission and Parking: Pit Passes are available for $25 for the duration of the event
Pets: No Pets (venue policy) sorry!
No Outside Alcohol: You can bring a cooler, canopy/tent, lawn chairs

DIVISIONS
The Pit Teen Throwdown offers divisions for 3 different age groups and gives Athletes the ability to compete against peers with similar skill and experience levels.
14-15 Age Group – DOB between 9/1/2007 and 9/1/2009
16-17 Age Group – DOB between 9/1/2005 and 9/1/2007
18-22 Age Group – DOB between 9/1/2001 and 9/1/2005
Our Junior Varsity division will be presented with multiple tests on the opening day of the Throwdown. Programming is challenging and the energy is high. A great opportunity for many Athletes to hit new PR’s and achieve some “Firsts”!
The Junior Varsity and Varsity Divisions are determined by the Online Qualifier, so get signed up and SEND IT! The Top 20 finishers in each age group for male and female will be invited to compete with the Varsity Division, while the next 20 athletes will receive an invite to compete in the Junior Varsity Division. Backfills will be made accordingly.

The Collegiate division is reserved for our 18-22 year old Athletes who have “aged out” of CrossFit age groups. Events will span from Saturday morning through Sunday afternoon.
The Collegiate Division will be “Open” with spots limited to the first 20 Males and first 20 Females to register for the Throwdown beginning on June 1st.
